About Amanda..

I am a 26 year old living just outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia. I have been completely infected by the bite of the travel bug. So far, I have been to 10 countries, with vacations ranging from lounging on the white sand beaches in Anguilla with a Red Stripe beer in hand, to exploring the indescribably beautiful country of Iceland and soaking in the famous Blue Lagoon. This blog is to share pictures, stories, and tips from the different destinations I have visited so far. Keep checking back, because I will definitely be adding more as time goes on and I check out more of what the world has to offer.
I am a wife, and a mother to one beautiful little girl and 2 cats (Lincoln- my very vocal blue point Siamese, and Lily, our ball of fur SPCA rescue). In my spare time I love to cook, read, kayak, go camping, travel, and spend time with my friends and family. I enjoy photography, although not on a professional level. I frequently volunteer with local organizations, and am a proud blood donor.
I work in a Corporate office full time, where I have been employed for the last 3 years as an Administrative Professional, and on nights and weekends I work as an independent travel agent for the Destination Experts. If you are interested in learning what a travel agent can do for you (for absolutely no cost to you, might I add..) then please feel free to contact me. It doesn't matter where you are in the Country, I can assist in your planning and booking. My contact details, as well as more information on using a Travel agent, are on the "contact" page on this site. You can check out my Facebook page, call me on my toll free number, or send me an email.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you plan your next trip!
